good news, bad news

good news: carter and halle love to sing together – so cute!

bad news: they only know two songs. “abc’s” and “twinkle twinkle little star”.

more bad news: that’s really just one song.

good news: they sing in unison – how adorable!

bad news: they both have one volume – ultra-super-how-could-it-be-any-louder loud.

more bad news: their favorite place to sing? the car. sigh.

good news: carter knows how to sing softly, when asked.

bad news: when i ask halle to sing softly she laughs at me and sings louder.

good news: they’re learning some new songs.

halle’s favorite expressions

this post is otherwise known as “you know you have two year old when you *constantly* hear them shout  say the following”…

oh, and did i mention “no”? also notice the absence of common pleasantries such as “please” and “thank you”. thankfully, carter corrects her speaking all the time. he says, “halle, you have to say ‘thank you’!” or “halle, it’s “i want that, please!” which gives me hope that halle will learn better manners at some point soon!
