after weeks and weeks of waiting…the first day of school is here! we now have an eighth grader and a fifth grader,
Some of us were more excited than others of us… 🙂
but all in all everyone had a great first day and so far the year is off to a fabulous start!!
right after the cruise we headed for colorado to see friends and family! first stop – durango to see the brach’s and my mom’s new house,
next stop: Breckenridge to see great friends! we had soooooo much fun and did so many activities in such a short time including horseback riding, fishing, hiking, river rafting, and playing with snow!!
we can’t wait for our next adventure with the Jakels!
carter and halle loves cruising so much last year we took a Mexican riviera cruise this year,
it was another fun week though the big highlight was snorkeling in both Cabo San Lucas and puerto Vallarta,
can you spot carter and jon?? 🙂
we also had fun exploring a beach and drinking out of a real coconut on one excursion,
we also played lots of trivia, saw a few funny comedians and tried to relax 🙂
earlier this summer halle’s dance team competed in Vegas for eight (!!!!!) long days! she and her team did amazing and had so much fun, apart from having to spend so much time in a less than ideal location. the brief highlights – her trio won 1st place in their division and her solo took 3rd! plus several group dances made the final showcase. the highlights in pictures,
