Here’s a comparison photo from the first and last days of school this year
They’ve both grown so much in so many ways – excited for the future! 🙂

soccer continues for carter and his team is doing so well. it’s been a tough season playing some of the top teams in the southwest but they have preserved and fought hard this season – here’s a few photo highlights!
the whole fam (minus mom who was in meetings) ran a 5K! and the two youngest placed 2nd (in boys) and 3rd (in girls) overall!!
dad did a stellar job too and finished strong!!
carter took aunty to the first ever horizon vip and me dance and they had such a great time!!
after the dance aunty was kind enough to take carter to chipotle and ross (his favorite store) for a true date!!
both carter and halle went to camp in february! first carter went to a youth camp with his church up in Williams AZ. he had a blast and was sad to come home
later that week halle went to 5-6 camp with her school. camp conundrum was up in Prescott and she too had a great time solving puzzles and brainstorming with her friends!! her chaperone took so many great pictures and videos!!
thankfully the weather was cool but not too cold for both camps! 🙂
we just celebrated the big 1-1 this week and she was soooooo excited for the big day,
her grandparents planned a family party in the west valley and we celebrated her all week at the house. So many sweet friends dropped off gifts and sent kind messages – she is so loved! happy birthday, halle!!
instead of gifts we surprised carter and halle with a quick trip to Disneyland! they had never been and were pretty excited!! we went to both Disneyland and California adventure! here are a few of my favorite pictures from our quick trip 🙂
carter and Jon did all the big rides, and halle did many of them as well. it was soooo chilly the first couple of days but we bundled up and walked a lot which helped- boy did our legs ache at the end of each day!!
both parks were really crowded but we had a max fast pass which helped us bypass many of the long lines. it was a great way to end the year!
we had such a relaxing holiday season this year! grammy came to visit for a quick trip,
we baked cookies,
and we helped out at our Christmas Eve services,
happy holidays!!
Halle’s dance team took team dance photos and they turned out so well – here are a few of the highlights
we’re so excited for the dance competition season to kick off in January!
for halle’s most recent Summative she created her own unique animal based on the climate and atmosphere of her biome! She made the animal in clay and then gave a presentation about the animal’s adaptation…and it was amazing!!
Her team worked really well together and they were so supportive of one another 🙂
